The Kierikki Stone Age Market in the Stone Age Village
Fri-Sun 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

• a Stone Age tribe present all day, everyday
  
  • Stone Age activities
  • tanning deer skins
  • setting up a camp
  • ancient wrestling
  • Stone Age sauna (sweating hut)
  • battle with bows and arrows
  • preparing food

• handicrafts and nature products sold
• red clay painting for kids
• stone grinding, bow-shooting and javelin throwing with the help of our Stone Age guides
• guidings daily
• archaeological exhibition open
• Aikamatka kivikaudelle (Time travel to the Stone Age, in Finnish) and Kierikki research history –films in the auditorium
• salmon prepared by the open fire and refreshments sold

ATTENTION! Bus transportation from Oulu to Kierikki on Sat, July 31^st Departure from the Oulu Market Square in front of the Toripolliisi-statue at 11 a.m., return to Oulu at 4 p.m. Price 25/22/20 € incl. transportation and entrance fee to the Kierikki Stone Age Centre.  Reserve your seat in advance from GoArctic: tel. +358  440 224 060, info@goarctic.fi.
